About The Ebon Run

   The Ebon Run is the unique Black-oriented newspaper that allows the people themselves to serve as their own reporters and write their own articles in their own words. Even though it’s Black-oriented, it includes news and info by and about people of all races concerning circumstances that can affect us all systematically. Currently, it’s an irregularly published 24-page publication (with ads included). All copies up to this point have been printed in black & white.
   The Run has critical objectives to accomplish—such as publicizing info that could save an innocent prisoner from death row, freeing innocent people from incarceration, exposing systematic corruption and aiding those victimized by it, helping the poor overcome the disastrous effects of racism so that they may obtain more autonomy and a better quality of life, rendering info that helps people in general live better or have more fulfilled lives, keeping the people informed about the overt and cover actions of antagonists hostile to Black progression or hostile to harmony between the races, and, in general, simply letting them know what’s going on out there so that they may have the info necessary to make the soundest decisions and judgments. The newspaper also serves as a free source where anyone and everyone may list good jobs available that they wish targeted toward Blacks and other minorities—"EOE" jobs and the like. I'll also include jobs of a charitable, human-rights, and/or progressive-activist nature. Plus, I’ll launch several socioeconomic projects of my own geared to elevate and empower my people. And I'll help others launch their progressive projects as well.
   There are absolutely NO reports on that new $10 million mansion John Athlete or Jane Entertainer has purchased—or info as to who signed for what with "Athletic Footwear, U.S.A." You won't find who married whom, who left whom, the top ten eligible singles, or makeup tips for attracting the top ten eligible singles. Not interested in that big bash you threw for your tenth anniversary. (This is the territory of the current, inadequate mainstream Black media—dependent on non-Black or good-ol’-boy sponsorship.) All you'll find in the Run is news we can use to help one another as well as the low-down, gritty info we need to know so that we can be informed about our antagonists' actions—and maybe work to counter them for our own good.
   My overall objective is to get a copy of this magazine into every hand that wants one--in the most inexpensive manners possible. I want this to be THE publication people can count on to get the truth out.
   This publication will also serve the benevolent purpose of helping to raise funds for deserving or needy entities. (See DEDICATIONS.)
